About Floor Coating Lab

Floor Coating Lab is a one-person project by me, Farhan Ejaj, based in Bangladesh and my targeted audiences are USA’s people. I started it because I kept seeing the same coating mistakes and wanted clear answers in one place.

Who I am
I completed a Construction Chemicals certification course at Ducon Training Institute 2022. I spent a year as an intern at Ducon Projects, where I assisted with concrete surface preparation, coating application, site visits, product testing. What I learned there is the basis for the guides I write here.

What I write about
Concrete surface preparation, epoxy and polyaspartic coatings, moisture problems, and why coatings fail.

How I write my guides
I haven’t tested every product mentioned. Where I haven’t, I say so, and my notes come from manufacturer data sheets and published standards.

Limits
I’m not a licensed contractor. For asbestos, serious moisture, or structural problems, consult a local professional.
